Students handle all roles of film production tackling themes of prominent health issues such as HIV and obesity. |

Kansas City Rescue Mission
Art education program funded by KCRM (2009) Art by the Yard Project Richard conceptualized and facilitated a workshop for KCRM residents to create a 7 panel photo-collage mural representing the journey of the homeless from hopelessness to recovery. Each picture, from burned out campfires to train yards and graffiti-covered bricks, forms a part of the larger journey each man has undertaken. |

Michele and Richard served as top level executives in the Kansas City based non-profit, Storytellers, Inc. for the years 1997-2009 (Michele) and 1997-2011 (Richard). The artists often performed multiple responsibilities on each project including concept and strategies, grant writing, management, staff training, facilitation and evaluation. Their roles in each project are detailed below.

KidZONE
K-5 grade extended day program funded by KCK Public Schools District #500. (1999-2003) Artistic programs facilitated within 11 Kansas City, Kansas Elementary Schools. Each program focused on art education and social skill building. 600 youth yearly. Michele and Richard's role included curriculum overview, staff hiring and training, program management, evaluation reporting, and facilitation. |

18th and Vine Jazz District Murals
funded by Jackson County Prosecutor's Office – C.O.M.B.AT., The Jazz District Renaissance Corporation (JDRC), FOCUS K. C. (2004) Outline of mural was produced on large vinyl banners and the mural was painted by 70 students. The final mural covered a construction wall during some rebuilding of the Vine District. Michele and Richard's role included strategy, program management and facilitation. |
